In the glass, this Columbia Valley Grenache has a brick red center that leads to a pink outer core with clear edges.
The nose on this wine is gorgeous… As I give it a sniff, I’m hit with a blackberry, cranberry, and bing cherry medley.
In the mouth, the beginning shows cranberries muddled with bright strawberries ——-> The mid palate sets a stage for a bit of minerality and clove and after I give the wine a chew there is a sweet tobacco note that brings it all together ——>The ending on the wine coats my mouth with soft, luscious tannins and a loooooong black cherry finish………………..
Renegade Wine Co is a second, value-oriented label to Sleight of Hand Cellars……. And a value it is!!!!!!!! If you are a Grenache drinker, I challenge you to find a better value that drinks this well for around $15 bucks!
This is a BUY so drink up y’all!!
