Shooting Star is a Steele

In the glass, this Cab Sauv out of Lake County CA has a black purple center with a red grape outer and ruby surrounding edges…

There’s an early herbaceous blast on the nose that jumps out of the glass ——–> When I catch my breath and take another sniff I find notes of dark raspberries, blackberries, and dusty oak….

When I take a sip of this guy there is an aggressive black cherry start loaded with blueberries and sweet oak. The mid-palate brings out some anise and dandelion flower with a cherry cola ending that grips my tongue with loooooong cottony tannins…

Y’all, I’m gonna pull back the curtain a bit with this one… You ever wonder what wine the Mrs. and I crack when we just want something good to drink but not think about??? Here is your answer ——-> At around $15 bucks, I challenge you to find a better every day Cab for the money…

The label on this wine sucks, the price is right, and the wine is pretty damn delicious… Nuff said.
