Leap of faith!

In the glass, this Sta. Rita Hills Chard has a dried straw yellow core with clearing edges and a transluscent halo….

A sniff is full of lemon zest with a touch of wood and a white flower note…. On the nose, this thing is balanced as all-get-out!!!!

When I take a drink, I’m hit by a quenching lime zest with more of the creamy oak that I got on the nose…. This wine unoaked but I don’t care, I’m getting some classic Chard wood here ———> and that is A-OK!! The mid-palate freshens up a bit with clean green apples and mandarin oranges before a crisp lemony finish that hangs on until my next sip….

Y’all, here’s another one from Jennifer McDonald who JUST YESTERDAY took a leap of faith and quit her day job to put all of her efforts into her wine brand Jenny Dawn Cellars…. Santa Barbara wine, made in Napa, and sold out of Witchita KS ———> You’re an inspiration in the Midwest Jenny, keep up the great work!!!!
