When I get my nose in the glass, there is a mouthwatering note of puréed blackberries with smoked pork and a citrusy perfumey thing that ties it all together….
The palate has a cola start that somersaults into mouth-coating blueberries and raspberries…. In the middle there is a puff of sweet pipe tobacco with an orange zest kick before an ending of black currant and licorice with the PERFECT amount of gripping tannins…. DAMN man….
I’ve said it over and over and I’ll say it again ———> Halcon Vineyards is undoubtedly producing some of the best quality to price point wines on on the market today…. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY that these prices don’t double over the next couple of years so get on the list, NOW y’all!!!!
