Freedom ain’t Frias

In the glass, this red blend out of Napa has a dark garnet core with with electric edges and a white flower halo….

When I get my nose in the glass I’m (pleasantly) overwhelmed by black fruit, anise, purple flowers, and burnt oak….

On the palate, this lil numbers’ got a black cherry start that leads quickly into black and blueberries with cottony tannins that get my attention ———–> The mid-palate continues on with a bit of tannic weight and more of the anise that I got on the nose before a looooooong cedar wood and black fruit ending….

I’ve long been a fan of Frias Family wines…. Here’s a 5 year old red blend that could EASILY spend another 5 years in bottle ——–> This is a PERFECT fall wine to enjoy with grilled chicken legs!!!
