Can I be Franc?

In the glass, this Yorkville Highlands Cab Franc has a blackberry and blueberry-smoothie center with bright purple edges and a thin translucent halo…

When I stick my nose in the glass I’m hit by a raspberry tart note with accents of green pepper, white onion, and a lil black pepper….

On the palate, a bright cranberry start throws a Hail Mary to bing cherries and bell pepper ———-> The mid-palate is full of blackberries and coriander before an anise and tart dark chocolate finish with sharp tannins that stick around a bit….

Yorkville Cellars continues to impress, this time with their Cab Franc!!! This guy’s got a fun, bright start that heads quickly towards something quite dark before an ending chocolaty tannins….. If you you’re as big a fan of the Franc as I ——-> you’ll LOVE this wine!!!!
