In a DAYze 🎧 drink 2 Widespread Panic

In the glass this Oregon 80/20 split of Syrah & Viognier has a plum purple core with blue edges and a thin pink halo….

A sniff is musty as all get out with dusty leather and unwashed raspberries ———–> When I stick my nose in the glass for a revisit I’m hit with a sort of vegetal spice thing that I’M DIGGIN’….

The palate has a black cherry start that takes a barrel roll into sweet leather and pipe tobacco ————> The mid-palate goes bright and shows some bing cherry acid before a finish that sticks firmly to both sides of my tongue and hangs on well past my sip with sharp tannins and ripe blueberries….

Here’s a Syrah/Viogner blend from Day Wines who’ve got a focus on producing natural wines ——–> This thing’s got some killer dark notes that mingle nicely with bright acidity and structure….. 🎧🎧🎧 Listen to this wine with something Jam Band(y) like Widespread Panic – Ain’t Life Grand
