A sniff is tight at the start with dense black fruit ———-> An aggressive swirl brings out notes of cedar wood, unwashed blackberries, and saline….

The palate starts soft and round with ripe red cherries and puréed raspberries…. A chew and a swish bring out more of the cedar wood I got on the nose before a dark chocolate thing shows up and grabs my attention ————> The finish firms up a bit with sharp tannins that piggyback a long black currant and spicy black pepper ending that carries into my next sip….
