In the glass this Columbia Valley Cab has an asphalt black center with red raspberry edges surrounded by a bricking halo….

The nose is dusty and CHOCK FULL of wet oak ———-> A second sniff shows some sweet red fruit accented by a blueberry BLAST that’s got me drooling….

A sip starts with a decent amount of tannic grip that quickly opens into blackberry and meaty notes ———-> A chew and a swish create a mid-palate bursting with more of the blue fruit I got on the nose before some anise shows up to play ball…. The finish shows more tannin before a loooooooooong and DELICIOUS sandalwood and black cherry ending hangs on my tongue….
