A sniff is LOADED with honeydew and white flowers…. When I stick my nose in for a revisit I’m hit with white peaches and orange blossoms ———–> If you could bottle springtime, THIS would be it!!!!
The palate starts with some weight on the tongue that carries into meyer lemons and more of the honeydew I got on the nose…. The mid-palate is RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS with effortless layers of tropical fruit and bright citrus that pave the way to an ending which shows a touch of spice complimenting a looooooooong limeade finish….
Here’s a Gewurztraminer from Fathers and Daughters Cellars that might be one of the best domestic expressions of the variety I’ve ever had….
