The nose is JAM PACKED with toasted oak and raspberry purree…. Another sniff adds some cedar wood, cherry cola, and an herbaceous kiss to the mix and I think I’m in love…..
A taste starts bright with a flash of bing cherry acid before taking a nose-dive to the savory side of things with more of the oak I got on the nose before cassis and violet flowers slow-dance on my tongue ————-> A chew and a swish shows some cottony tannins that carry zesty raspberries and sugared plums….. This guy finishes even better than it starts with a loooooooong muddled blackberry and anise ending that I’m dying over….
