In the glass, this Columbia Valley blend has a HUGE dark purple center surrounded by bright radish edges wrapped into a hot pink halo….
A sniff starts somewhat muted but soon opens up into dried oak and green bell peppers ———–> A revisit throws a black and boysenberry medley my way and I’m CRAVING a sip….
The palate starts with an anise driven, mid-weight mouthfeel that carries a blackberry and black cherry base before a chew and swish shows a blueberry blast that’s chased out of the scene by a greasy black licorice thing that I’m kinda diggin’….. The ending teeters back to the herbaceous side with more of the green pepper I got on the nose before this little number finishes with a lasting, spicy, black currant ending…..
This Cab dominant blend from Columbia Valley is a pretty killer daily drinker that’ll only set you back around $20 bucks ———–> With big black fruit, spicy herbaceous(ness), and a greasy mid-weight mouthfeel this guy’s worth it’s price point AND THEN SOME!!!! 🎧🎧🎧 Listen to this wine with something a little dark that’s gotta touch of greasiness like The Neighbourhood – Sweater Weather
