In the glass this El Dorado Mourvèd dominate blend has a dark garnet core surrounded by violet edges that’re wrapped by a worn brick halo….
The nose is GORGEOUS with layered aromas if sweet cedar, raspberries, and pipe tobacco ———-> Another sniff is a face-full of blackberry jam smothered eucalyptus leaves and I’m. in. looooooooove…..
A taste starts playful on the tongue with strawberry jelly and black cherries before more of the raspberries I got on the nose create a silky, smooth, and coating mouthfeel ———–> A chew and a swish unleashes a sugared cranberry sauce mid-palate that slowly slides into a pit of whole vanilla beans before this little fella finds a wet oak barrel and blueberry finish that I’m diggin’….
Raise your hand if you love Mourvèdre 🙋🏼♂️🙋🏼♂️🙋🏼♂️ If your hands’ up – great, we can be friends….. If it’s not, you haven’t had an expression of the variety like this one from The Withers Winery ————-> This lil number is NOTHING SHORT of GORGEOUS and at just under $25 bucks a bottle, you’d be a fool not to pick up a few for the holidays!!!! 🎧🎧🎧 Listen to this chill but lively wine with a smooth, head-bobbing jam like The Roots – The Seed
