In the glass this Anderson Valley Pinot has a dark garnet core with bricking edges that bleed out slowly into a pink lipstick halo….
The nose is clean and bright with bing cherries, red raspberries, and just a touch of dusty oak ————> Another sniff shows a candied cranberry and Madura cigar medley that’s got me blushing….
A taste impossibly balances light vibrancy with tongue-coating viscosity…. There are more of the red raspberries I got on the nose sitting in a drum circle with black plums and lemon zest ————> The mid-palate shows black cherries with a Dr. Pepper kick before cherry pie makes an appearance to introduce a long and mouthwatering white pepper and orange rind finish….
