In the glass this Spanish Garnacha has a rosey red core surrounded by orange brick edges that’re wrapped by a thin, pink-translucent halo….
A sniff is bright and effervescent with a red raspberry and coriander thing that settles nicely into Cherry 7Up ———-> A revisit pulls out a bit of funk with forest floor and white mushrooms that play together nicely….
The palate has an herbaceous start of fresh basil and garden weeds…. when rounding 1st base there’s a cranberry and blackberry thing that catches my attention before a chew and a swish show grippy tannins that expose more of the funk I got on the nose before chalky red fruit goes center stage and takes a bow to a crowd full of blueberry cotton candy with a white pepper kick….
Y’all know I’m a Grenache fiend and here’s a Spanish expression of the variety that at around $15 bucks should have a spot at your table every day of the week!!! 🎧🎧🎧 Listen to this pretty wine with a pretty song like Kaleo – I Want More
