In the glass this El Dorado Grenache has a HUGE electric purple center surrounded by bricking edges that fade into a thin pink translucent halo….
The nose is LOADED with blackberries sprinkled in allspice ———-> Another sniff shows black cherries smeared across wet leather and I’m drooling….
A taste has a mid-weight mouthfeel that’s infiltrated by red raspberries and more of the blackberries I got on the nose…. A chew and a swish unleashes a rhubarb pie mid-palate before coriander spice and orange zest slow dance to a raspberry black tea melody that sets the stage for an ending that’s packed with more black fruit and seductive salinity….
I’ll be damned if The Withers Winery hasn’t done it again, folks ———-> This time with this Grenache that shows truckloads of red and black fruit that only ignites all of the zest and spice that lingers in the background! 🎧🎧🎧 Listen to this wine with a song that’s got serious weight with a zesty kick like Tones and I – Dance Monkey
